Our Community Patient Education Program has several classes that are available to help our patients and people in our community prevent and/or manage heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and other conditions. Our classes are a great opportunity for you to become informed and educated about changes that you can make to manage your cholesterol, blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, medication, weight, and stress. We are proud to offer classes that provide credible, responsible information, and are not only informative, but interactive and fun.

Our classes include Heart Healthy Living, Catch it Early: Insulin Resistance, Type 2 Diabetes and Your Heart, Living Well While on Coumadin, Living with Heart Failure, Flavorful Cooking with Less Salt, Supplements: Making Informed Choices, Women and Heart Disease, Managing Hypertension, Taking Care of Your Heart During the Holidays, Stress and Your Heart, Heart Smart Choices While Dining Out, Hearts and Carts: Heart Smart Shopping, Heart Healthy Cooking, and Medication Education.

Classes are instructed by nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, registered nurses, board-certified pharmacotherapy specialists, certified diabetes educators, and health educators.
